Seattle foundry rooted in arts school

    The garage door at Pratt Fine Arts Center was built by a group of students, with principals of 12th Avenue Iron serving as project artists, instructors and managers.

    A Seattle-based foundry is forging ahead, bolstered by a new line of furniture and an uptick in the economy.
