Napa Valley hotel earns platinum

Seattle developer Phil Sherburne's Yountville, Calif., hotel Bardessono received LEED platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, according to a news release from the project team.

The 62-room boutique luxury inn and spa opened in February of 2009. The team said it is the first West Coast hotel to get this LEED rating and one of two hotels worldwide.
