SEATTLE — A big leaf maple will be planted tomorrow at the entry to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation campus now under construction near Seattle Center.
Gustafson Guthrie Nichol is the project's landscape architect. The firm said in a press release that a crane will be used to place the tree, which has a trunk diameter of about 8 inches and weighs about 10,000 pounds.
