$35M federal building upgrade goes to HSW

  • This is the first of six projects in the area that will spend $120 million in stimulus funds to make government buildings more efficient.
  • The U.S. General Services Administration yesterday awarded a $35.1 million contract to Howard S. Wright Constructors to make improvements to the Henry M. Jackson Federal Building in downtown Seattle.

    The contract was the first of six projects in the Puget Sound area that will use $119.8 million in stimulus funds to make government buildings more efficient.
