Work begins on WSCC upgrades

SEATTLE — The Washington State Convention Center has started work on a $20 million upgrade of its downtown Seattle facility.

Work started in December, when the exhibit halls were repainted and new carpet was installed in the lobbies, ballrooms and meeting rooms.
