Seattle City Light soon will award a contract for environmental and engineering work at 1250 Denny Way in South Lake Union. The site has been a bus maintenance yard for more than 60 years, and could become a future electrical substation.
The 48,400-square-foot site takes up much of the block between Yale Avenue, Pontius Avenue North, John Street and Denny Way. The Greyhound bus maintenance yard will remain until March of 2010.
