SEATTLE — The South Puget Sound apartment market is slowing down, but could improve due to military moves, Apartment Insights Washington reports.
The year-end vacancy rate in Pierce, Kitsap and Thurston counties was 7 percent, or 119 basis points higher than at the end of 2010. More landlords are offering incentives to lure tenants, states the company's fourth quarter report.
