Touchstone to start 1st & Stewart tower

SEATTLE — Touchstone Corp. is gearing up to build an 11-story hotel and apartment building at First and Stewart, a block from Pike Place Market.

Permit records show Touchstone's general contractor Turner Construction Co. last month received a shoring and excavation permit for the project.
