Seattle-based Atelier Drome Architecture + Interior Design promoted Miriam Hinden, George Maroussis, Alice Reis, Shane Staley and Shannon Wing to associate. Hinden is an architect and project manager with experience that includes multifamily and hospitality design and rehabilitation of historic buildings. Her work has included Super Bueno in Wallingford and the newest location of Tavolata on Capitol Hill. Maroussis is a project manager on residential and commercial projects. His work has included Navy Strength and No Anchor and Caffe Ladro in Belltown.

Reis is an architect and project manager on commercial and residential projects. Her work has included Lake Union Floating Home. Staley is an architect and project manager whose work includes all three locations of Flatstick Pub, and Bramling Cross in Ballard. He also built the tables in Flatstick Pub and in the Capitol Hill Cherry Street Coffeehouse. Wing is a project manager on commercial and residential projects. Recent work has included Magnuson Cafe + Brewery and Westbridge Community, 14 single-family units in West Seattle. She also is the studio coordinator who oversees the overall project and staffing schedule.

In Everett, Reid Middleton hired Izabela Waszczylko as a survey technician, Casey Hansen as a designer I and Joni Hards as a human resources generalist. In Alaska, the firm hired Grant George as a structural designer, Michael Banks as a CAD/BIM technician and LaToya Watson as an office administrator. In San Diego, it hired Ashley Zautcke as a structural engineer.

Waszczylko has three years of surveying and offshore seismic experience. Hansen will be focused in the structural division. Hards has over 20 years of human resources experience. George has seven years of design experience and a bachelor's in civil engineering from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Banks has over 20 years of technical experience, most recently with the Air Force. Watson has 15 years of administrative support experience. Zautcke has over eight years of structural experience. Reid Middleton provides structural and civil engineering, land surveying and permitting services.

Darby Watson joined Parametrix as a vice president, overseeing the transportation and community building divisions in the Puget Sound region, including offices in Tacoma, Puyallup, Bremerton and in Seattle, where she is based. She has over 20 years of experience, specializing in managing transportation and urban planning programs. She was director of project development for the Seattle Department of Transportation. She won a Seattle Design Commission Award for King Street Station Hub and a Governor's Smart Growth Award for Newcastle Community Business Center. Parametrix provides engineering, planning and environmental sciences.

Schemata Workshop

Seattle architecture firm Schemata Workshop hired Geoff Anderson as a principal. Anderson was a principal at Innova Architects and has worked on affordable multifamily projects, aquatic centers and parks and recreation facilities. As chair of AIA Washington's Livability & Affordability Committee, he advocates for affordable housing, transportation and responsible growth policies. His work on behalf of the state's AIA chapter earned him the Jennie Sue Brown Award for service to the profession.

Seattle architecture firm Tiscareno Associates promoted Scott Glazebrook to partner, Mark Stine to associate principal, Vince Hoss to senior associate and Bill Barton, Kate Reef, Dane Anderson, Melissa Hansen and Stephanie Hahn-Wagner to associate. Also, it hired George Hanna as a senior project architect and Mackenzie Gilstrap as associate marketing manager.

Glazebrook leads transit oriented and mixed-use projects. He was conceptual design lead and project manager for Modera Redmond, a multifamily project; and Redmond Square, a mixed-use residential project. Stine designs mid-rise mixed-use multifamily and affordable housing projects, and is working on Redmond Square. Hoss specializes in mid-rise mixed-use projects and contributes to transportation projects. He recently collaborated on Washington State Department of Transportation and Sound Transit projects, among them Bellevue Transit Center.

Barton project manages multi-towered, mixed-use developments to 50-acre master sites. He is working on the Acme and Pivot mixed-use projects in Seattle. Reef does tenant improvement and renovation projects and supports the multifamily and commercial division. She is working on Modera Redmond. Anderson has contributed to retail tenant improvement, multifamily and civic projects. He is working on the East Link Extension. Hansen leads BIM development efforts with her modeling and technical drawing skills. She is working on Waterfront Place, a 5-acre redevelopment in Everett. Hahn-Wagner designs and manages affordable housing projects. She is working on The Main Apartments and Lofts, a mixed-use anchor for downtown Sumner.

Hanna does technical design of transit centers and other transportation projects. He is leading design for 130th Station in Bellevue for the Eastlink Extension. Gilstrap manages and develops creative content for the firm's marketing channels and project pursuits. She also assists in business development, client management and public relations.

HNTB Corp.

Miller

HNTB Corp. named Bradley Miller Seattle group director, based in Bellevue. An associate vice president, he is on a team delivering aviation, toll, highway, transit, rail, planning, program/construction management, tunneling and other services in the region. He has 28 years of transportation industry experience and most recently was office delivery manager at HNTB in Indianapolis. He was project manager for the $99 million IndyGo Red Line bus rapid transit project. HNTB is an infrastructure firm.

The Watershed Co. of Kirkland hired Mike Thai as an environmental scientist and said Kyle Braun with the firm has become a licensed landscape architect. Thai has over eight years of experience and will support the planning and natural resources team with project permitting in addition to review and development of land use policies and regulations for municipal clients. Braun is a certified arborist with a background in horticulture and landscape construction. Watershed provides natural resources assessment, mitigation and restoration design, environmental planning and permitting, stormwater monitoring, arborist and landscape architecture services.
