Rossknecht

General contractor Hensel Phelps promoted Eric Rossknecht to project superintendent for the Pacific Northwest Region. Rossknecht has been with the company for 12 years, working on civic, health care, aviation, justice and ground transportation projects on the West Coast. He is currently working on Sea-Tac Airport's North Satellite modernization.

Kaczynski

Alston Construction appointed Kevin Kaczynski as project director for its growing Seattle market. Kaczynski has over 15 years of construction experience in industrial, commercial, retail, medical and educational projects. He was senior project manager in Alston's Chicago-area office. Privately held Alston says it wants to add experienced employees to its Seattle office.

OAC Services

Shawn Mahoney, formerly managing principle of Seattle-based construction management firm OAC, is the new CEO. The company also announced that it added three outside board members: Bruce D'Agostino, Fred Rivera and Anthony Ray (also known as Sir Mix-A-Lot). D'Agostino is the former president and CEO of the Construction Management Association of America. Fred Rivera is executive vice president and general counsel for the Seattle Mariners. Ray is a founder of NastyMix Records and a Grammy Award winner.

Coyne

In Bellevue, general contractor Hensel Phelps promoted Jason Coyne to general superintendent. Coyne has built over $1.2 billion worth of aviation, healthcare and civic facilities, with expertise in construction within operational facilities and integrated project delivery. He is working on the North Satellite modernization at Sea-Tac Airport.

UMC

Russo

Steve Russo is the newest shareholder of University Mechanical Contractors. Russo is major projects manager and has worked at UMC since 2000. He has extensive experience with wastewater treatment plants and is licensed as a professional civil engineer. Mukilteo-based UMC provides mechanical design and construction, energy services and facility maintenance.

HAMMER

In April, the Volpentest Hazardous Materials Management and Emergency Response Federal Training Center in Richland achieved 2 million work hours without a lost workday injury. The center is managed by DOE Richland Operations Office contractor Mission Support Alliance. It provides high-hazard training for Hanford Site workers.
