Alexandria to sell its block in Pioneer Square

Looking northeast across Main, this is the Furuya-Corgiat end of the Masins Block. It’s unclear if Good Bar, with the murals in its windows, will ever reopen.

After paying about $33.7 million to assemble what most would call the Masins Block, at 220 Second Ave. S. in Pioneer Square, Alexandria Real Estate Equities will apparently walk away from that investment. Broderick Group says in its first quarter office report that the property is for sale.
