Interbay storage yard could become practice court for Seattle Storm

No new plan has been filed for the property, and the city hasn’t yet approved the contract rezone.

Once owned by the Seattle Monorail Authority, an over 1-acre storage yard at 1616 W. Bertona St. has under different owners seen a few failed development schemes during the past two decades. One complication is that it's in the BINMIC, or Ballard Interbay Northend Manufacturing and Industrial Center, which greatly restricts its use.
