High-rise site sells for over $7M

SEATTLE — The Seattle Go Center, at 700 N.E. 45th St., sold last week for $7.3 million, according to King County records. The seller was the Nihon Ki-In, a Japanese nonprofit that acquired the property in 1994 for a little over $1 million. It's related to the Go Center.

The buyer was Victory at the U LLC, which is associated with Champion Real Estate of Los Angeles. With architect Weber Thompson, the entitled 21-story tower plan has 110 apartments intended for students.
