Virtual: 2021 Real Estate Challenge Breakfast | Around the Lake — Development & Potential Around Lake Union. The Pacific Northwest Real Estate Challenge is a development case competition in which teams from the University of British Columbia, University of Washington and Portland State University real estate programs compete. Students have been tasked with creating an investment proposal for a well-located development site in Seattle, with each team provided with site information as well as local market experts to craft a feasible development proposal that maximizes investor returns. This is the first in a three-part series of NEBC technical workshops on water and environmental resiliency presented by GSI Water Solutions. Beaverton is developing a non-potable water system to irrigate green spaces like parks, school grounds and residential yards – the first major residential area in Oregon to do so. The new system will use groundwater and treated stormwater for irrigation and stream recharge.
