Allana Buick & Bers architectural engineering firm promoted Petersen Lambert to associate principal. Lambert manages the Seattle office. Previously, he helped launch the Los Angeles office, where he was divisional manager and a consultant. He has experience in building envelope, roofing, waterproofing, and exterior wall systems. He also oversees planning, production, team management and client management for the region. The firm is headquartered in Palo Alto, Calif.

Metrix Engineers hired Erik Olnon as a project manager. Olnon has more than 10 years of experience, including leading design and construction of high-rise mixed-use buildings. Olnon holds a master's in business administration and a bachelor's in mechanical engineering. Metrix is a mechanical engineering firm in Renton.


Tres West Engineers of Tacoma promoted David Moore and Sean J. Roy to principal. They were responsible for mechanical and electrical systems design on the new SR 99 tunnel north and south operations buildings, and the Port of Seattle bus maintenance facility. Moore has been with Tres West for more than 10 years. Roy has worked at the firm for six years. He has 20-plus years of experience as a design engineer. Tres West provides mechanical and electrical systems engineering.

Candela hired Alison Horne as a lighting designer in the Lynnwood headquarters. Horne has three years of experience and is working on the Sammamish High School Atrium and Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Oakland, Calif.





GeoEngineers' shareholders re-elected principal environmental engineer Dana Carlisle (Redmond) and elected principal geologist Dave Cook (Seattle) to the board of directors. The firm also promoted geotechnical engineer Paul Wasser (Boise) and marketing and communications director Chris Nordfors (Seattle) to principal, and environmental scientist Tony Orme (Tacoma) to associate. Nancy Musgrove has been hired as an environmental scientist and Brian Tracy and Dean Chahim as environmental engineers in the Seattle office. The Redmond office hired Britta Nelson as a geologist, Valerie Spencer as a billing coordinator and Jerry Tindall as IT support services manager. Blair Deaver re-joined GeoEngineers' Bend office as a software product manager in the technology solutions group. The earth science, engineering and technology consulting firm is headquartered in Seattle, with 12 offices nationwide.
The Blueline Group hired Kristal Greenhaw as a project engineer. Greenhaw has more than 19 years of experience (including eight of project management) on single-family, commercial and public works projects. Blueline provides civil engineering and land development consulting services in the Northwest.

In its Seattle office, DCI Engineers promoted engineers Katrina Reed, Alisa Ma, Robyn Yang and Patrick Lindblom to project manager. Reed has six years of structural engineering experience with hospitality, retail, multifamily, tenant improvements and seismic renovations. She worked on Amazon's headquarters in Seattle. Ma has four years of structural engineering experience in tenant improvements, seismic renovations, and mixed-use, housing and medical buildings. She is managing the Kress Building in Seattle. Yang has six years of structural engineering experience with residential, office, hospitality and mixed-use buildings. She is working on Park Metro, a 74-unit Bellevue apartment complex. Lindblom has five years of structural engineering experience with retail, hospitality, office, multi-use and multifamily buildings. He has worked on Madison Centre, a 36-story office building planned in Seattle. Seattle-based DCI is a civil and structural consulting engineering firm. It also has offices in Spokane; Portland and Eugene; San Diego and Irvine, Calif.; and Austin, Texas.
Baylis Architects hired Sam Chung as a job captain and Lisa Lu as a project manager. Chung has 12 years of experience in apartments and commercial buildings. He will work on apartments in northeast Seattle. Lu is an architect with 20-plus years of experience with apartments and houses, and has been project manager on high-end homes. She is working on custom homes. Baylis is an architectural and planning firm with offices in Bellevue and Seattle.
GeoDesign, a geotechnical engineering and environmental consulting firm, hired Tom Tobin to its Seattle office. He has 30-plus years of geotechnical engineering experience on municipal, commercial, industrial and housing developments; road, bridge, and utility projects; landslide evaluation and remediation; and landfills. He was with GeoEngineers. His clients have included Seattle and Sound Transit. Portland-based GeoDesign also has offices in Tacoma, Longview, Vancouver, Salem and Anaheim, Calif.
Vancouver-based HDJ Design Group re-hired Nicollette R. Roth as a civil engineering designer to support transportation engineers and the site development group. Roth has four-plus years of experience on projects for HDJ, an engineering, planning, land survey and landscape architecture firm.
