The North Beach Water District is seeking qualified General Manager. The District serves approximately 2,800 homes and businessesin a 12 square mile area in Pacific County serving Ocean Park and surrounding communities. The District’s system currently produces around 85 million gallons of water each year from two wellfields. The Districts operates two water treatment plants and two booster stations. The District has 9 full time employees. The ideal candidate should have certifications in water operations, verifiable experience in managing public water systems, and a spirit of what we call professional entrepreneurship. This means that she/he should be able to manage multiple projects with ease, motivative and inspire employees, inspire confidence in customers, venders, and regulators, possess a heightened sense of responsibility and ownership, as well as a desire and passion to go far beyond the boundaries of the job. $75,000 to $95,000 annually DOE
