He has 12 years of experience and helped build commissioning into a successful service line for the firm. Mechure is a market leader for health care. The electrical engineer and project manager has over 25 years of experience in health care engineering for facilities in the Puget Sound area, including Harborview, Northwest and Valley medical centers. Leysath will be a military market leader alongside Bruce Alward to serve Department of Defense and federal agency clients. He has over 30 years of experience, including previously at Wood Harbinger, in electrical engineering, security systems design and project management for projects and markets.

Bellevue-based Baylis Architects promoted Lisa Lu to associate principal and Juan Garcini and Ann Williamson to associate. Lu was hired in 2013 and is on the residential design team. She has been project manager on houses and worked on small commercial projects, including the two-story Market Street Office building in Kirkland, which has flexible workspace. Garcini has done mixed-use housing, commercial and industrial projects in his 25-year career. He rejoined Baylis in 2012. Williamson was hired in 2012 and provides direction for projects. She has managed commercial, residential and ecclesiastical projects over a 30-year career.

Engineering consulting firm Perteet hired Brianne Ross as a senior project manager in the transportation design group. Ross will be based in Snoqualmie, and lead Eastside project development efforts. She was senior transportation engineer at the city of Issaquah, where she helped deliver its six-year transportation improvement plan and worked on multi-modal transportation issues. Her recent experience includes Cleveland Streetscape Improvements in Redmond.

Rice Fergus Miller is an architecture, interior design, planning and visualization firm.

Kiersey is an architect and interior designer who is project manager for Central City Concern's Blackburn Center. Miyahira has been with the firm for almost 20 years. He has experience with mixed-use, senior and market-rate housing. Mikkelson is an interior designer with more than 12 years of experience on commercial tenant improvement, health care and multifamily projects. Wheary was hired 15 years ago and is the go-to person for high profile interior design projects. She is working on residential developments in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Bonn has been with the firm for 20 years. His career has included resort work to summer camps to affordable housing, among them Young Life's Washington Family Ranch, home for two central Oregon camps for middle- and high-schoolers. Grimm has concentrated on community design and planning. He is working on an affordable housing community for Tacoma Housing Authority in Tacoma.
