Switch, a Seattle-based financial technology company, added former Macy's executive Amy Hanson to its board and as an advisor. Hanson was executive vice president at Macy's and is experienced with credit, payments and retail.

Tacoma Rainiers

Schutt

Ashley Schutt of the Tacoma Rainiers baseball club is the Pacific Coast League's nominee for the 2018 Rawlings Woman Executive of the Year Award. Schutt is director of baseball operations and merchandise for the Rainiers. The winner will be announced in December.

Seattle City Light

The Seattle City Council confirmed Debra Smith as general manager and CEO of Seattle City Light. Since 2013, Smith has been general manager of the Central Lincoln Public Utility District in Oregon. From 1996 to 2013 she held a number of posts at Eugene Water & Electric Board.

Clark Nuber

Bellevue-based CPA firm and consultant Clark Nuber promoted several staff: Sarah Huang to principal; Lisa Cooke and Joseph O'Meara to senior managers; Shareen Corlett, Agatha Dodek, Darin Nakatsu, Jillian Nguyen, Emma Tsuber and Tyler Zetting to managers; Kolton Auxier, Kayla Harmon, Leslie Melchor and Danielle Silva to senior tax accountants; Madeleine Bergeron, Kelsey Byrd, Madison Davis, Katharine McCue and Paul Newcomb to senior auditors; Kenzie Fleischman to senior IT auditor; and Lauren Vanderlugt to senior associate of accounting and consulting.

Teatro ZinZanni

Teatro ZinZanni and Fire & Vine Hospitality formed a partnership for new shows and improvements at the Teatro ZinZanni Woodinville campus, including a renovation of the pub. They will also offer private dining and special events. The companies remain independently owned and operated.

Henderson

James Henderson joined Greater Seattle Partners as COO. Henderson spent the last three years as economic development director for the city of Bellevue, and was assistant director for economic development at the city of San Antonio. Greater Seattle Partners promotes regional trade and investment.

Phillips Burgess

Velloso

Attorney Tadeu Velloso joined the Olympia-Tacoma law firm of Phillips Burgess. Velloso recently clerked with Justice Steven Gonzalez of the Washington State Supreme Court. His practice focuses on real estate, land use and environmental law.

First Northwest Bancorp

First Northwest Bancorp named Christopher J. Riffle executive vice president and COO. Riffle has been interim COO since Jeffrey S. Davis resigned in August, and continues as general counsel/corporate secretary. Prior to that, he was a partner at Platt Irwin Law Firm, where he represented First Northwest as general counsel. First Northwest is the holding company of First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Port Angeles.

Clearwater Paper

In Spokane, Clearwater Paper named Steve Bowden vice president and general manager of the pulp and paperboard division. Bowden was president of the Americas food and beverage division for Multi-Color. He also held key leadership roles at International Paper. Clearwater supplies private-label tissue to major retailers and wholesale distributors, and produces bleached paperboard.

U-Haul

Packwood Inn in Lewis County has become a U-Haul neighborhood dealer of rental trucks, trailers, towing equipment and moving supplies. Hagop Ouzounian and Mireille Takajian are partners in Packwood Inn, which is at 13032 U.S. 12.
