Tracy Butler is Sound Transit's new CFO. Butler was interim CFO and joined the agency in 2007 as treasurer. She has 20 years of experience as a senior financial leader. While managing Sound Transit's debt program, she negotiated a $2 billion master credit agreement with the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Seattle Art Museum named Dr. Theresa Papanikolas curator of American art. Papanikolas, an expert in 20th century American art, is deputy director of art and programs at Honolulu Museum of Art. Before that she was curatorial fellow at Los Angeles County Museum of Art. She starts at SAM in January, replacing Patricia Junker who retired after 13 years at SAM.
Boeing and Adient formed a joint venture called Adient Aerospace to make airplane seats. Alan Wittman is CEO of the new company, which has a customer service center in Seattle and product development operations in Germany. Wittman was director of business operations for Boeing's 787 Dreamliner. His team is Jason Fahlbush (COO), Jorg Kaib (CFO) and Frank Toenniges (vice president of engineering) from Adient; and Gary Senechal (vice president of sales and marketing) and Stefanie Rautio (vice president of certification and regulatory compliance) from Boeing.
Seattle 2030 District, a public-private collaborative creating a high-performance building district downtown, handed out its 2018 Vision Awards. The winners are: Mayor Jenny A. Durkan/City of Seattle for leadership; Stone 34 (Brooks Running/Laird Norton/Skanska/Unico) for leadership; Cyrene (Mack Real Estate Development) for energy; 1201 Third Ave. (Wright Runstad & Co.) for water; and Expeditors downtown offices for transportation.

Washington State Parks Director Don Hoch was inducted into the American Academy for Park & Recreation Administration. Hoch has 40 years of park and recreation experience, with 14 years at Washington State Parks. Academy members must have at least 15 years of high level administration in a park and recreation agency.
Tanisha Jumper was appointed media and communications director for the city of Tacoma. Jumper was program manager and, for the last nine months, was interim director. Before joining the city in 2015, she was senior vice president of community impact at United Way of Greater Dayton in Ohio.
Kim Bedier, director of Tacoma Venues & Events for the city of Tacoma, was named Venue Executive of the Year by the International Entertainment Buyers Association. Bedier is responsible for the Tacoma Dome, Greater Tacoma Convention Center, Pantages and Rialto theaters, Theater on the Square and Cheney Stadium.
In Bellevue, T-Mobile has signed on to Puget Sound Energy's Green Direct program. The move gives it access to local wind and solar energy sources, which will be used to power its headquarters with 100 percent renewable energy by 2021.
