Wozow

Genevieve Wozow, director of business development-government at Seattle's Remote Medical International, was elected to the International Stability Operations Association board. Remote Medical, part of Seattle's Columbia Pacific Management, provides medical services to work sites around the world. ISOA is a trade group for companies supporting the U.S. departments of State and Defense.

Create33

Rebecca Lovell is a new director at Create33, a center for technology entrepreneurs in the Pacific Northwest. Lovell is an adjunct instructor in the University of Washington's Foster School of Business MBA program. She was acting director of Seattle's Office of Economic Development and chief business officer at GeekWire. Create33 was conceived by Madrona Venture Group and is in the same downtown Seattle building as the venture firm.

Accenture

Accenture opened an innovation hub at 1191 Second Ave. in Seattle. The hub is a place where Accenture staff and clients work together to create products and services for the digital economy. Avanade, a joint venture of Accenture and Microsoft, is collocated in the new space. Gil Wootton is Seattle office lead for Accenture.

TFS Advisors

Aaron Terwedo of TFS Advisors in Edmonds earned a National Social Security Advisor certificate from the National Social Security Association. Terwedo specializes in financial planning for retiring professionals.

Leadership Thurston County named four winners of its 2019 Distinguished Leader Awards: Cheryl Fambles of Pacific Mountain Workforce Council; Drew Phillips of Forma Construction; and Meghan Goldenberger and Meagan Darrow of the nonprofit youth program Together. The awards honor initiative and impact. A ceremony will be held Jan. 17 in Olympia. Leadership Thurston County is part of Thurston County Chamber Foundation.

Phytelligence

David LeBreton is the new vice president of operations at Seattle-based agricultural biotech company Phytelligence. LeBreton is leading lab, greenhouse and pre-production teams in North America. He has evaluated research and developed strategy for pre-production at Phytelligence. Before that, he worked in real estate and advertising.

Virence Health Technologies

Seattle-based Virence Health Technologies added Karl Salnoske as senior vice president of engineering and operations; Sal Mahbouba as senior vice president of professional services and support; and R.J. Timmons as senior vice president and general counsel. Salnoske was executive vice president and CIO at Laureate Education. Mahbouba is managing partner at Ratava Partners. Timmons was associate general counsel at Alorica. Virence provides software for health care providers.

Intrepid by VitalSource

In Seattle, Intrepid by VitalSource hired Geoff Curless as director of sales and Thom Robbins as director of marketing. Curless led sales at Rehearsal and Trivantis, and Robbins was chief marketing officer for MediaPRO. Intrepid operates a digital learning program.

Grand opening will be Saturday in Columbia City for Health Discovery Acupuncture & Yoga. The clinic is staffed with acupuncturists who specialize in holistic services, Chinese herbal medicine and hands-on therapies. It's at 4741 Rainier Ave. S., Seattle.
