In Bellevue, Symetra Life Insurance Co. named Daniel R. Guilbert as president of its Individual Life and Retirement divisions. Guilbert was executive vice president of those divisions. He joined the company in 2010 and led the Retirement Division to its first billion-dollar sales quarter.

Keever

Salt Lake City-based Sarcos Robotics appointed Bill Keever as senior vice president of global sales and Tom Jackson as vice president of defense and public safety. Keever has over 30 years of experience leading large-scale and complex global sales teams. Jackson is a retired U.S. Marine Corps lieutenant colonel and a 20-year defense, aerospace and energy industry veteran. Sarcos has an office in Bellevue.

Paccar

Bellevue-based Paccar named Preston Feight as CEO and a board member. Feight is executive vice president and has been with the company for 21 years, serving as president of DAF Trucks and vice president and general manager of Kenworth Truck Co. He will start as CEO on July 1, replacing Ron Armstrong, who will retire after 25 years with the company.

Alpine Immune Sciences

In Seattle, Alpine Immune Sciences appointed Dr. Stanford Peng as president and head of R&D. Peng was executive vice president of R&D and chief medical officer. Prior to joining Alpine in 2016, he was chief medical officer at StemCentrx, and executive medical director and head of inflammation and translational medicine at Seattle Genetics. He succeeds Dr. Mark Litton. Alpine focuses on immunotherapy to treat cancer, autoimmune/inflammatory and other disease.

Know Labs

In Seattle, Know Labs hired Dr. Mark Tapsak as vice president of intellectual property. Tapsak was professor of chemistry and biochemistry, and interim assistant vice president and dean of graduate studies and sponsored research at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. He also worked at Medtronic and Dexcom. Know Labs directs structured light or radio waves through substances to capture molecular signatures used for identification, authentication and diagnosis.

Visit Vancouver USA

Kim Bennett, founding president and CEO of Visit Vancouver USA, is retiring after 20 years with the tourism office. Bennett also was executive director at Camas Washougal Chamber of Commerce and worked in the law offices of Schwabe Williamson & Wyatt. Her last day will be June 30.

RealWear

In Vancouver, RealWear appointed Rocky Scales to the new position of executive vice president of global sales. Scales has 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, leading the e-commerce business of Vesta and handling sales at SheerID, Ondot Systems and Hewlett-Packard. RealWear makes wearable computing devices for light and heavy industry that are voice-driven and head-mounted.

Great Wolf Lodge

Great Wolf Lodge opened a Build-A-Bear Workshop at its Grand Mound property in Thurston County. Build-A-Bear lets customers build their own stuffed animals. Great Wolf Lodge is an indoor waterpark.
