Lane Powell has five new attorneys in its Seattle office and one in its Portland office. The Seattle team is associates Joseph D. Adamson, Brynn E. Felix and Reshvin P. Sidhu; counsel to the firm Brett Durbin; and shareholder Sean D. Jackson. In Portland, Eric J. Kodesch is a shareholder. Adamson focuses on antitrust and complex commercial litigation matters. Felix works in the Commercial Litigation and Transportation practices, and was a summer associate with the firm in 2017. Sidhu advises on employment law compliance. Durbin counsels on state and local tax issues. Jackson focuses on employment and transportation matters. Kodesch counsels on tax issues.

Washington Wine Industry

Katie Nelson, Dennis Devitt, Bill Shibley and Eileen Votteler are new board members of Cashmere-based Washington Wine Industry Foundation. Nelson is senior director of winemaking for Columbia Crest. Devitt is statewide viticulturist for Wilbur-Ellis. Shibley is a commercial/agricultural agent at Basin Pacific Insurance. Votteler is director of community relations at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates. Two board members retired: Mark Wheeler of Saddle Mountain Vineyards and Carol Munro of Ste. Michelle Wine Estates. Officers for 2019 are: Jerry Judkins-Smith of Inland Desert Nursery, chair; Corina Davis of Merrill Lynch, vice chair; and Jordon McEntire of Bleyhl Co-Op, secretary/treasurer.

Seattle CityClub

Diane Narasaki won the 2019 Civic Leadership Award from Seattle CityClub. Narasaki led Asian Counseling and Referral Services for more than 20 years. The award recognizes those who inspire others to take civic action. It will be presented June 18 at CityClub's annual benefit event.

U-Haul

International Collision Repair of Portland is now a U-Haul neighborhood dealer of trucks, trailers, towing equipment and moving supplies. The company is at 9817 E. Burnside St. John Southwick owns it.

In Bellevue, Symetra Life Insurance Co. named Daniel R. Guilbert as president of its Individual Life and Retirement divisions. Guilbert was executive vice president of those divisions. He joined the company in 2010 and led the Retirement Division to its first billion-dollar sales quarter.

Salt Lake City-based Sarcos Robotics appointed Bill Keever as senior vice president of global sales and Tom Jackson as vice president of defense and public safety. Keever has over 30 years of experience leading large-scale and complex global sales teams. Jackson is a retired U.S. Marine Corps lieutenant colonel and a 20-year defense, aerospace and energy industry veteran. Sarcos has an office in Bellevue.

Paccar

Bellevue-based Paccar named Preston Feight as CEO and a board member. Feight is executive vice president and has been with the company for 21 years, serving as president of DAF Trucks and vice president and general manager of Kenworth Truck Co. He will start as CEO on July 1, replacing Ron Armstrong, who will retire after 25 years with the company.

Alpine Immune Sciences

In Seattle, Alpine Immune Sciences appointed Dr. Stanford Peng as president and head of R&D. Peng was executive vice president of R&D and chief medical officer. Prior to joining Alpine in 2016, he was chief medical officer at StemCentrx, and executive medical director and head of inflammation and translational medicine at Seattle Genetics. He succeeds Dr. Mark Litton. Alpine focuses on immunotherapy to treat cancer, autoimmune/inflammatory and other disease.
