T-Mobile

Bellevue-based T-Mobile announced Project 10Million, an initiative aimed at delivering internet connectivity to millions of underserved student households at no cost to them. Partnering with school districts across the country, the program offers free wireless hotspots, free high-speed data and access to laptops and tablets, at-cost. The initiative's goal is to help every unconnected student in the U.S. get access to internet connectivity. The program is now live and available to school districts.

Smartsheet, of Bellevue, announced that Rowan Trollope has been appointed to its board of directors. Trollope currently serves as CEO of Five9, a provider of cloud contact center software. Prior to Five9, Trollope was senior vice president and general manager of Cisco's Applications Group. He also served as group president sales, marketing and product development at Symantec, where he was responsible for cloud security. Smartsheet is a cloud-based platform for work execution.
