Rebuilding Together South Sound has fixed over 1,000 homes in 20 years

  • The nonprofit has worked with 10,665 volunteers who have donated more than 106,350 hours.

    Volunteers from The Walsh Group and EC Electric made improvements to a Tacoma home as part of the Rebuilding Together South Sound program.

    Here's what one homeowner wrote after Rebuilding Together South Sound staff and AmeriCorps volunteers had finished repairs on their home: “You all know what this house symbolizes to me, it will be kept nice and I do not ever plan to sell. This has also helped me with depression and will continue to do so for the difficult times we may face ahead.”
