Walsh Construction Co. hired
Matt Godt, Lane Lehrke and
Bryan Ware in its Oregon office, and
Ron Hopper in its Washington office. Godt is a project manager with nine years of construction experience. Lehrke is a superintendent who has been working in the industry for more than 17 years. Ware, a recent construction management graduate from Oregon State University, is a project engineer. He interned on the company's Heckart Lodge renovation in Corvallis. Hopper is the quality assurance manager. He is a registered architect with more than 40 years of experience in architecture and construction.
Puyallup's Absher Construction Co. hired
Craig Holt as Healthcare Services Division director. Holt, a LEED Accredited Professional, has 25 years of construction industry experience, including work on health care and bio-tech projects. In the newly created position, he will oversee procurement and construction for Absher's health care clients.
Schuchart Corp. promoted
Christian LaRocco to project manager from assistant project manager. LaRocco joined the company six years ago after graduating from the University of Washington's construction management program. Seattle-based Schuchart recently opened an office in North Charleston, S.C., in a move to follow Boeing, which is building a second 787 assembly plant there.
ISEC promoted
David Herzel to vice president. Herzel has been with the company for 25 years, most recently as Northwest Region manager. Herzel will continue in that role and take on additional responsibilities. ISEC is a Denver-based sub and prime contractor building architectural woodwork, ornamental metals and laboratory casework. It has an office in Seattle.

Derek Janke as senior project manager,
Jeff Wieser as project engineer and
Joel Rohrs as business development manager. Janke has 21 years of commercial construction experience, Wieser is a graduate of the University of Washington and is working with the Special Projects Division, and Rohrs has 17 years of commercial construction experience.
SandbagsToGo.com, a Snohomish supplier of sand-filled acrylic, burlap and polypropylene bags, has been certified as a Woman Owned Enterprise. The company contracts with local and state agencies and federal contractors for emergency flood preparation and erosion control situations. The owner is Christiana Castoriano.
Eugene-Ore.-based Pape Material Handling joined Oregon OSHA's Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program, which provides incentives for employers to work with their employees to find and correct hazards, and implement effective safety and health programs. Pape Material Handling provides sales, parts, service and support for material-handling equipment. Terry McCabe is the general manager.
Portland's Modulog Industries added a company-installation option for its customers in Washington and Oregon. Modulog sells do-it-yourself log siding packages.
