Gig Harbor's Washington Patriot Construction hired Zerah Florence as quality control manager for a $5.5 million project at Naval Base Kitsap in Bremerton. Florence has a background in both architecture and construction. She will be at the project site full time.

Ziegler Lumber Co.

Spokane's Ziegler Lumber Co., which operates as Ziggy's, is closing its store at 4220 N. Market St. in Spokane to make way for the North/South Freeway project. Ziggy's has other stores on East Holland Avenue in Spokane and East Sprague Avenue in Spokane Valley, as well as Moses Lake and Idaho.

Canyon Creek Cabinet Co.

Monroe-based Canyon Creek Cabinet Co. appointed KDN Associates to represent its cabinet lines on the East Coast. KDN is based in Horsham, Pa.

Gig Harbor's Wade Perrow Construction added John Reindl as network administrator, Brittney Noble as administrative assistant/receptionist, and Sunny Millar as project engineer. Reindl is in charge of all computer and information technology-related issues. Noble is focusing on marketing. She holds a bachelor's degree in writing from Pacific Lutheran University. Millar is working on the $22 million Fort Lewis Readiness Center project. In the past, she worked on other Joint Base Lewis-McChord and municipal projects.

Andersen Construction Co.

Anderson
For its Seattle office, Andersen Construction Co. hired Kyle Anderson as superintendent and Thuy Vu as project engineer in the Special Projects Group. Anderson has 14 years of commercial construction experience. Vu is a graduate of Washington State University and has four years of commercial construction experience.
