Spokane Chapter No. 143 of the National Association of Women in Construction installed its 2019-20 officers and board. Officers are: Dotty Johnson of Bouten Construction Co., president; Kathryn Piraino of Associated Construction, vice president; Brea LaRue of Garco Construction, secretary; and Chris Wigginton of Oldcastle, treasurer. Directors are Donni Gabbert of Kilgore Tec Products, Jennifer Goe of Paint Crafters, Erika O'Callaghan of Bouten Construction Co. and Matina Whitney of PayneWest Insurance.
Lisa Yandrich, administrative manager of Trico Companies, joined the board of the Association of Washington Business. Yandrich has been with Burlington-based Trico since 2014. Prior to that, she provided executive, business and administrative support at the Washington State Employment Security Department.
Mukilteo-based University Mechanical Contractors is rebranding itself as UMC. The company says it shortened its name so that it's inclusive of all its expertise and offerings. UMC provides mechanical design and construction, energy services and facility maintenance.

Brandon Hand joined The Walsh Group in Seattle as a project manager. Hand comes from Robert Evans Co. in Portland, where he was a senior project coordinator. Prior to that, he worked for six years at Miles Sand & Gravel Co. in Puyallup. At Walsh, Hand is working on the Medical Mile Health Science Center in Tacoma for Bates Technical College.
In Seattle, the Buildings Northwest sector of Graham Construction & Management promoted Chris Colley to preconstruction manager. Colley joined Graham about two years ago, leading teams from preconstruction through construction. Canada-based Graham builds multifamily, retail, health care, life science, K-12, higher education and office buildings.
