Coffman Engineers promoted Timber Chinn to a new vice president of human resources position and Jim Ivers to chief financial officer. This coincides with a leadership transition as the company's CFO Pat Piermattei moves to a part-time, senior vice president job. Chinn will work on employee relations, compensation and benefits, recruitment, training and development, safety, wellness programs, and regulatory compliance. She has been with the firm for 30-plus years. Ivers will lead the financial and risk management operations and participate in decisions about the 401(k) plan, real estate, and mergers and acquisitions. He joined Coffman in 2007 as controller. Piermattei was CFO for the past 32 years and will continue to support the company with financial and legal duties. Coffman provides civil, structural, industrial mechanical, process piping, commercial mechanical, electrical engineering and controls, lighting, project management, commissioning, and corrosion control engineering. It has offices in Seattle, Spokane, Los Angeles, Anchorage, Honolulu, and Hagatna, Guam.
