BLRB Architects promoted Gregory A. McCracken to senior associate and Abbey Cwiek-Garrett and Aaron Winston to associate. It hired Caela McKeever as an interior designer and Richard H. Higgins as the Portland office director. McCracken has more than 20 years of architectural experience and is director of the Spokane office. He has worked on educational and civic projects, including the Walla Walla High School modernization. Cwiek-Garrett is an interior designer with 10-plus years of experience on educational, health care and commercial projects, including renovation of the Clean Water Innovation and Technology Lab at the University of Washington Tacoma. Winston has experience in residential and commercial design and is working on the Gateway Project at Eastern Washington University: a stadium renovation and expansion with mixed-use opportunities. McKeever has architecture and interior design skills, and holds a bachelor of architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University. Higgins has experience in architectural planning and design, with a focus on secondary and post-secondary schools. Tacoma-based BLRB is focused on public architecture, with offices also in Spokane, Portland and Bend, Ore.
