Aecom hired four people in its Seattle office. Jim Soukup is vice president in alternative delivery for transportation project development; Michael Horton is operations manager, transportation; Brian Mannelly is senior marine planner, transportation; and Janet Lee is office engineer, transportation. Soukup has more than 20 years of experience in transportation projects in the U.S., and will initially focus on major transportation projects on the West Coast. Horton has 35-plus years of experience as a civil engineer, including 30 with the Washington State Department of Transportation. He is a design and construction project manager for municipal and tribal government projects and a construction management trainer. Mannelly is a planner, designer, logistics specialist and operations professional with a background in port development, transportation planning and real estate/commercial strategy. He has 20 years of experience, including five as planning director for the Port of Tacoma. Lee has eight years of experience as a civil engineer with WSDOT, where she worked in contract administration, design and inspection. Aecom provides support services to transportation, facilities, environmental, energy, water and government markets.
