Principal Alissa Rupp is the new president of The Portico Group. Michael Hamm, president and CEO for 15 years, will continue as CEO until he retires in April, when Rupp will take over that position. Rupp has been with the firm for nearly 15 years, leading projects in the U.S. and Asia, including museums, zoos and science centers. Hamm is a Portico founder and has led projects for governmental and not-for-profit clients including World War II Valor in the Pacific and Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, both in Honolulu. The nearly 30-year-old Seattle-based firm designs museums, zoos, public gardens, aquariums and visitor centers.
