The Glosten Associates, a Seattle-based engineering consultancy, promoted Benjamin Ackers, Morgan Fanberg and Matthew Miller to principal. Ackers specializes in naval architecture and leads the firm's ocean engineering and analysis group. He is technology development manager for the PelaStar foundation system for floating offshore wind turbines. Fanberg designs marine mechanical and electrical systems. He leads the marine engineering group. Miller leads the naval architecture group and has a background in regulatory issues. He has 20 years of experience in the marine industry and eight with the U.S. Coast Guard.
