On Quality, on Glide Path The Port of Seattle is currently implementing a $6 billion dollar Aviation Improvements Program over the next 10 years. This program requires that a significant amount of facilities be built within a confined area, and thus it is important that the associated projects be well coordinated and well designed. The Quality Program was initiated last year, as a joint effort by Port's Aviation Program Management and Engineering Departments, to develop procedures and implement a program to ensure preparation of a quality process but has broad applicability to projects and firms whatever the project type.
