Council mulls future of KCRHA

SEATTLE — Last week, the King County Council unanimously approved a motion to strengthen oversight of the King County Regional Homelessness Authority (KCRHA) and establish what it describes as “a structured, fact-based process” to evaluate its future.

KCRHA was established in 2019 through an Interlocal Agreement (ILA) between King County and the city of Seattle. The new public entity was created to manage and unify the response to homelessness in the county and city.
