New power rate option for business

SEATTLE — Seattle City Light's new time of use (TOU) rate option is now available for small and medium business rate customers.

Like the residential TOU rate, SCL says the optional rate encourages businesses to shift electricity use away from peak hours, which helps to manage costs and support a cleaner, more resilient grid.
