Schlecht Construction recently won two Construction Excellence awards from the Lower Columbia Contractors Association. The Kelso-based contractor won the New Commercial/Industrial Project over $2 million award for the Nortech Fabrication facility in Kelso and the Commercial Remodel over $500,000 award for the Community Home Health & Hospice renovation in Longview. Subcontractors involved in the Nortech project included Carney Construction (site work), Hamer Electric and Entek (HVAC). Wayne Glandon was Schecht's superintendent on the job. Randy Sundberg managed the Longview project and Dick Lindquist was the superintendent.
