Miles Sand & Gravel

Kevin Davis of Auburn’s Miles Sand & Gravel recently received the James M. Christie Safety & Health Professional Award for the company’s improved occupational safety record. The award was given last week by the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association at the aggregates industry’s annual awards ceremony. Davis, who heads Miles’ safety programs, provides training, guidance and counseling to all employees. He also established and manages several company-wide safety committees.
