Yontz Miller has become an outside sales representative for residential products at Gray Lumber Co. of Tacoma. The company also hired Jim O'Neal as a wholesale lumber broker and Sarah Ortega in custom window and door sales. Miller has been with the company for 11 years, pushing a broom at first, then working in the yard for five years, followed by 1.5 years in hardware counter sales and more than four years with inside counter sales. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Washington's Milgard School of Business. O'Neal began his lumber career in 1988 as an outside sales representative, and specializes in mill-direct sales to infrastructure contractors. Ortega has 12 years of window experience, starting in 1998 on the production floor with Milgard Manufacturing and moving into that firm's sales team in 2003.
