Nearly $86M for building work in Mayor Wilson's library levy vision

The proposal funds the long-awaited seismic retrofit of the landmarked Columbia branch, originally built in 1915 with money from Andrew Carnegie.

Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson wants to raise library funding by $191 million in our city's next libraries levy, including a boost for renovations and updates.
