WASHINGTON, D.C. — Construction employment rose in March, adding 26,000 jobs across both residential and nonresidential sectors, according to an analysis of new federal data released by the Associated General Contractors of America.
The increase follows a 13,000-job decline in February and signals renewed momentum in the industry, though industry leaders say persistent labor shortages remain a concern.
