Streets levy headed to ballot

TACOMA — During the Aug. 4 Primary Election Tacoma residents will get to vote on a new levy that would fund the maintenance, repair, and enhancement of city streets, sidewalks, and multimodal infrastructure for 10 years.

The Tacoma City Council voted on Tuesday to send the Connect Tacoma: Safe Streets and Sidewalks measure to the Pierce County Auditor for placement on the ballot.
