Washington on track to join linked California-Québec carbon market in 2027

The three jurisdictions signed the linkage agreement in June, laying the groundwork for joint carbon market operations.

Washington has wrapped up regulatory changes needed to link with the California-Québec carbon market in 2027, Gov. Bob Ferguson announced Wednesday.
