Abusive husband gets a 30-year sentence

Domestic violence rarely has a happy ending.
And maybe “happy ending” isn’t the best way to describe the outcome of State v. Goodman. But because a Washington appeals court recently ruled that a 30-year sentence wasn’t excessive, a Pierce County woman is probably sleeping a lot better these days.
