Court upholds 'child's' right to paternity test

The birth certificate named only her mother.

But for the longest time, Regina Calcaterra thought she knew who her biological father was. The problem was, dad wouldn't step forward and admit it. So two years ago, while her alleged father was living in Whatcom County, the 34-year-old woman sued him in an effort to determine her paternity.
