A plan to someday build another cruise ship terminal in Seattle notched up this week, as port commissioners agreed to spend $345,000 for design and environmental review of a facility at Terminal 91.
In total, the Port of Seattle has spent $520,000 to study the cruise-ship proposal. The budget includes payment for market analysis, conceptual design, cost estimates, assessment of community impacts and environmental review under the state Environmental Policy Act.
