If Alexandria Real Estate Equities has a tenant in mind for the vacant Eastlake building for which it recently paid an eye-catching price, the Southern California biotech REIT is doing an effective job of keeping that quiet.
"They must have a biotech tenant in tow," said broker Brad Knowles, echoing others at Cushman & Wakefield's quarterly market data presentation earlier this week.
