No warranty on human goods

When you're sold damaged goods, you return them to the seller. The answer isn't so simple, though, when the "merchandise" is an adopted child. Consider, for example, McKinney v. State. In that case, our state Supreme Court had to decide whether adoption agencies should be liable for damages if they fail to disclose mandatory information to prospective parents.
