Acquisitions give Esterline momentum
Every other week, the Daily Journal of Commerce compiles analysts' recommendations on local and national stocks.
Stock prices reflect Thursday's close. The Dow added 266 points to close at 8,608, while the Nasdaq gained 49 points to close at 1,385. The S&P 500 tacked on 29 to close at 909.
