Griffin is a director at Acer Therapeutics and HTG Molecular Diagnostics. The company also announced that board member Arnold J. Levine transitioned to its scientific advisory board.

King County

King County Executive Dow Constantine announced three administrators who will preside over inquests surrounding law-enforcement-involved deaths: Robert McBeth, Terry Carroll and Michael Spearman. All three are retired King County judges. They will oversee a new inquest process and decide questions posed to a six-member jury. Pro-tem staff attorney Matt Anderson will serve as facilitator.

In Seattle, Walsh Construction Co. promoted Nick Silbaugh to superintendent and Joseph Geise to layout trade assistant superintendent. The company also added Keagan Stanier as a certified payroll specialist and Gus Sinsheimer as project manager. Silbaugh joined Walsh in 2015 as a project engineer and transitioned into assistant superintendent in early 2018. Geise joined the company in mid-2014 as a journeyman carpenter foreman.

New account executives at Hermanson are Eric Jensen, Seth Pike and Leonard Madison. Jensen has worked in construction for over 30 years, and has mechanical and electrical experience. He is focusing on Hermanson's industrial market. Pike has 27 years of mechanical experience and is working in the Hospitality, Hotel and Office group. Madison is helping build the company's Portland sales. He has worked in the industry for 33 years in the Eugene area. Kent-based Hermanson provides mechanical construction, design-build engineering and service/maintenance.

City of Burien

Craig

Chris Craig is the new economic development manager for the city of Burien. Craig was the city's economic development specialist since 2015, and was interim economic development manager in both 2017 and early 2019. He replaces Andrea Snyder, who is now deputy city administrator for the city of Issaquah.

City of Seattle

Tsao

Stanley Tsao is a new project manager in the Community Liaisons program at the city of Seattle's Department of Neighborhoods. Tsao is focusing on transportation-related projects, including Vision Zero and Transportation Equity. Prior to joining the city, he performed public policy, community outreach and advocacy work.

City of Tacoma

The state Department of Archaeology & Historic Preservation recognized Tacoma's Historic Preservation Office for outstanding achievements in historic preservation education. Historic preservation officer Reuben McKnight and assistant Lauren Hoogkamer organized innovative events to get new audiences interested in historic preservation. Events included scavenger hunts, bicycle rides, themed dance parties and pub crawls.

D.A. Davidson Companies

Scott Witeby is the new CFO at D.A. Davidson Companies. Witeby was CFO of Lincoln Financial Network, the retail wealth management business of Lincoln Financial Group. He also held senior finance roles during 10 years with LPL Financial, and began his career as a public accountant with Ernst & Young. Witeby replaces Tom Nelson, who plans to retire next year after 19 years as CFO. Davidson is based in Montana with corporate offices in Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles and Denver.
