PRR

PRR, a women-owned and employee-owned, integrated communications agency, announced that co-owners Malika Klingler and Diana Steeble are stepping into the role of managing principals to oversee the strategic direction of the agency. Klingler and Steeble have served in senior management roles for over 10 years and bring operational, client relations, and market development expertise. Klingler will continue to oversee the administrative and operational functions of the agency including human resources, accounting and legal, business development, information technology, administrative services, and facilities. Klingler will oversee PRR's culture and employee engagement programs including PRR's anti-racism initiatives. Steeble will oversee the management of PRR's client services, creative studio, and market development. She will remain board chair and continue to serve as healthcare sector lead for PRR. Established in 1981, PRR is a bicoastal agency with a team of national experts located in Seattle, Washington D.C., Norfolk, VA, and Baltimore, MD.

Oles Morrison

West Coast law firm Oles Morrison Rinker and Baker has been ranked by Chambers and Partners in the research company's most recent 2021 guide. The firm was placed in Band 1 of USA Nationwide Government Contracts: Highly Regarded Legal Rankings and Band 2 of Construction in Washington Legal Rankings. Seattle-based Oles lawyers honored in the latest guide are Douglas Oles and Sam Baker for construction in Washington, and Howard Roth for government contracts nationwide. Chambers & Partners is an independent London-based publisher that has ranked the leading law firms and attorneys for 30 years. Oles Morrison Rinker and Baker has provided legal counsel to public and private companies throughout the nation and internationally in all phases of construction and government contracting since the 1930s.

DataRobot

DataRobot appointed Seattle-based Damon Fletcher to chief financial officer. Fletcher joins DataRobot from Tableau, where he served as CFO, helping navigate Tableau's shift to a subscription-based model. He was also instrumental in Tableau's acquisition by Salesforce in June 2019. In his new role, Fletcher will oversee all global aspects of DataRobot's financial operations and prepare DataRobot for its next stage of growth. Prior to joining Tableau in 2014, Fletcher worked with some of the fastest growing public companies in the world as a certified public accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. DataRobot, headquartered in Boston, is a provider of Augmented Intelligence, delivering AI technology and enablement services to global enterprises.

Brilliant Earth

Brilliant Earth, specializing in ethically sourced bridal and fine jewelry, will open a new showroom in Seattle's University Village this summer. The Seattle showroom focuses on diamond, gemstone, and ring setting education. Brilliant Earth's Seattle showroom is comprised of approximately 1,400 square feet of retail space. The Seattle showroom will be Brilliant Earth's tenth physical location.

Port of Bremerton

The Port of Bremerton won the 2021 Job Creator of the Year award from the Washington Public Ports Association (WPPA) at the association's Spring Conference. This recognition, presented by WPPA President Kathy Pittis, goes to the port that best exemplifies growth in the creation of sustainable, living wage jobs. Over the past five years, jobs at the port increased 255%, bringing in high-quality and impactful jobs for the community. Additionally, the number of port tenants has doubled in the past five years, according to Port Commissioner Cary Bozeman.

Dept. of Veterans Affairs

The Washington state Department of Veterans Affairs appointed Lonna Leno as the administrator of the Walla Walla Veterans Home. Leno assumed responsibility of the Veterans Home from Victor Odiakosa, who served as interim administrator while Leno participated in an Administrator in Training Program. Leno's professional background in healthcare spans 28 years and includes a variety of leadership and other roles in hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. In 2016, Leno joined the Washington state Department of Veterans Affairs, at the Walla Walla Veterans Home, as the admissions coordinator and veterans benefits specialist, helping to prepare the new 80 bed facility which opened in June of 2017.

Oregon Bancorp

For the third consecutive year, Oregon Bancorp, parent company of Willamette Valley Bank, has been ranked No. 1 on American Banker magazine's Top 200 Publicly Traded Community Banks and Thrifts. The ranking is based on a three-year average return on equity as of Dec. 31, 2020. Oregon Bancorp is headquartered in Salem, Oregon. The Bank conducts commercial and retail banking activities at four full-service branch locations in Salem, Keizer, Silverton and Albany, Oregon. It also operates 13 Home Loan Centers located in Oregon, Washington and Idaho.

Expedia Group

Expedia Group announced the appointment of Rathi Murthy as the company's chief technology officer and president of Expedia Services and Jon Gieselman as the company's president of Expedia Brands. As part these appointments, the company will evolve its operating structure into four pillars: Expedia Services, Expedia Brands, Expedia Marketplace, and Expedia for Business. Most recently, Rathi managed innovations in 5G and the platform technology and infrastructure at Verizon Media. Gieselman joins Expedia Group from Apple, where he led marketing for Services, a broad portfolio of businesses. Jeff Hurst, previous president and co-lead of marketing, will become the Expedia Brands chief operating officer reporting to Gieselman. John Kim, previous president of Platform & Marketplaces, will become president of Expedia Marketplace. Ariane Gorin will become president of the newly formed Expedia for Business.
